Wine Description:
In sight, Don Maximiano 2012 stands out for its bright red-violet color. On the nose, it delivers fresh aromas of raspberry, sarsaparilla and currant. Then there are spices, such as black pepper and cloves, as well as soft touches of truffles accompanied by a subtle balsamic note. On the palate it is a fresh wine, full of fruit and spice flavors, with notes of cedar, cloves, cinnamon and a hint of pepper, all framed by a vibrant acidity that adds tension and freshness, as well as balance and persistence. We are in the presence of a young, complex and elegant wine, full of subtleties, which promises excellent longevity thanks to its fine and firm tannins.
